Fireproof.

Ok, I got to go see the Louisville premiere of this film. When my dad helped promote Facing the Giants, he developed a relationship with the Kendrick brothers, who write and direct the films made by Sherwood Baptist Church in Albany, GA. When my mom was ill and they were writing Fireproof, one of the Kendricks informed us that my mom would be honored with a character named after her!

I remember when she called to tell me this. She was crying so hard she couldn't speak--I thought something was wrong. She was so deeply honored by their decision and it brought her much joy. My only regret is that she did not live to see her name up on the big screen. The character "Cheryl" is one of the main characters and is precious just like my mama was!

So last week, we sat in the theatre in her memory and watched this amazing film.

The power of God is very real in this movie. It addresses daily struggles that ALL marriages face.

Every couple needs to see this film together. I think God is going to save some marriages and challenge some mediocrity and sin in others.

please go see this movie. You won't regret it. September 26.

and if my Secret Prayer Partner reads this blog, I love you! And thanks for the awesome cards I have gotten!

xoxo.
