Wow.


I had the most intimate and beautiful time with the Lord today. I love that daily quiet time.
I long for it...


[now don't be jealous. He told me He wants to meet with you, too. All you have to do is show up.]



I won't tell you everything He said (wink). But I will tell you this...It was the same message He has been repeating to me for weeks--



ISAIAH 49.



Since He started proving Himself to me using this passage of His word, I have celebrated it, taught it (Journey #20 formations-coincidental that it's the theme scripture? uh, probably not.), and pondered it in my head and heart for hours.



The one thing that keeps resounding in my spiritual ears is this:



" I will not forget you. See, I have inscribed you on the palms of my hands."

Beloved, He hasn't forgotten you either. Nothing else is as certain or as sacred as this:
Jesus couldn't forget my face (or yours) if He tried. He tells us to look! It's right there.




It was so good. And so needed. My heart craved the joy of His presence as it always does. The breath of Jesus filled my apartment so richly that it permeated everything.



I love Him. I love Him. I love Him. I love Him.




Anyway, I'll stop gushing about my Papa God long enough to tell you that I decided to share the soundtrack of my date with the Lord (wink) today for our weekly installment of "Lyrics with Lauren."
